Pros: Like the product once I got use to the panels.

Cons: With Outlook Express e-mail the spell checker corrects in French. Have not found a remedy for this yet. I can’t live without spell checker in English. Spell checker works fine in Word in English. Go figure.

In this funny thought-provoking story, a rich boy-genius criminal mastermind takes on the fairy world, but this is not the fairy world we often think about. This is a high-tech group of races that live deep underground. At stake is a staggering amount of gold. Now, Artemis is amoral, but seems to become distinctly evil by the end of this novel, adding tension to this novel.

Though this is written for young teens and preteens, older fans of young evil geniuses will enjoy this and will sometimes ponder it.

A cipher runs the length of the book for those codebreakers who want to tackle it. Fortunately, its solution is not needed for understanding the story. The cipher has a very tiny twist that makes it interesting.

Artemis Fowl (available in several editions) is part of a series that continues with a variety of adventures & characters. In these we see Artemis embrace his evil nature and resist his evil nature. We also see some girls get involved in the action. The first three novels in this series can be found in Artemis Fowl: The Criminal Mastermind Collection (paperback). The series should be read in order.

Parental concerns: There are a few things parents might want to consider. Consideration is not a bad thing. Remember, by checking out the book, you get to read it first; it is pretty funny. For my part, I found the series OK for my son. I was not so sure for me. The hero is an evil criminal mastermind, in a child-like sense. Should I be hanging out with a criminal mastermind? Also, in the battle between Artemis and his fairy enemy Holly, I wanted both to win. I don’t think this is a relativistic view of right and wrong, though; Artemis is wrong. So, how come I wanted Artemis to win? I do like him. And the dwarf’s method of digging tunnels is so alimentary, sometimes with explosive results at the, uh, exhaust end! Should I be reading such rude bottom humor? And then every once in while there is the rare ideological comment that might

Boy did I really want a Kindle 2 or DX (preferred), but not at the DX price nor the Kindle 2 price with samller screen. I looked at (and acutally operated) bothe the Kindle 2 and DX. Amazon needs to lower th e price for both quickly. I ended getting an iPad. Didn’t really want to buy an iPad, but when I look at what you get, it just made economic sense. I now have every eBook format and reader on my iPad and more.

I am not an Apple nut, but I am a sensible shopper. I would still look to get a DX because I do like the eInk display on the 9.7″ screen. You really need to drop it below $350.00 for me to think about it and if you drop it undeer $300.00 I will buy it tomorrow.

If your N-Strike gun runs the clip feature for ammo, be sure to grab these. The other darts don’t work very well in the clips, they jam th gun, get stuck “dripping” out of the gun, etc. These are the only ones besides the whistle darts that will work in the clips. Believe me, we’ve tried! If Santa is bringing a clip gun, be sure to grab these. I’d try at the local r-us store first or target. They’re tons cheaper than this really high price of twenty bucks. Can’t hardly believe they’re this high here. Highly recommend!

Excellent read! I loved The Help from begining to end. I couldn’t read it fast enough. It was a great read about the south in the 1960’s. It wasn’t that long ago!!

Wonderful product. The only problem I have with it, is that it doesn’t compute the amount walked in one week.It only lists for a daily total, but won’t total all 7 days. My work is doing an exercise program to see who walks the most in one week and I have to manually total the week. This is not a problem for most people, but of course, I have to be different. This product does a great job of keeping track of your steps.

I decided to test this hard drive by using it as the primary hard drive for my PVR/media center PC. Allowing me to free up some space from my internal hard drive while also putting the iomega through its paces.
The pros and cons of my experience with the drive are below:

PRO:
1. Minimalist design and square housing make the drive easy to stack with other components and won’t negatively affect the aesthetic of your home theater or office.

2. The LED to indicate the device is on which is unusually bright, is situated toward the back of the drive making it less glaring in a dark room.

3. At 1 to 2 TB this drive is perfect for media use. Windows media center claims the 1TB drive, which I tested should hold 721.5 hours of standard def TV or 109.5 hours of HD TV. Or I assume, 50 hi-def movies (without extras).

4. When copying files to the drive, while recording TV, playback of TV stuttered initially, but then proceeded with smooth playback.

5. General playback was flawless, with no slowdown when playing HD content, and no indication that the transfer speed of the drive was not up to the task of acting as a media drive.

6. While not truly portable (you need to drag around a separate power cable and its much larger than most portable drives) this is small enough that you could take it with you on vacation, since it is about the size of a large paperback. Moreover while it is smaller than many other external hard drives I have used (for example it is half the size of a WD MyBook Essentials 500GB drive).

7. At around $100 the drive is a good deal, in between the prices for internal 1TB hard drives and external 1TB hard drives.

CON:
1. The only major problem I had was with the provided Power and USB cables. The USB cable was short about 3 feet but that’s replaceable so the problem is relatively minor. The power cord, which would be much more difficult to replace is only about 4.5 feet and as such really limits drive placement. In my setup I did not hav

What do todays Christians really think? Can a christian live a semi productive life according to the Word of God and expect nothing to backlash? Well here you have it! In this book you will find nothing but OPINIONS! There is no sound doctrine whatsoever in this book! Again I wish to iterate again, again, and again until I am blue in the face, we live in a culture that allows homosexuals to marry, abortions, etc…this book is a synopsis of our Laissex-faire attitude towards our christian beliefs! So in my OPINION, it will only go down hill from here until an “Old Time Revival” breaks forth. So till then, prepared for more of these so called “New enlightenment crap”. I suppose if your head is in a hole and you want to really know where we stand spiritually here in America, read this book to truly comprehend where we are headed.

Gaveling Down The Rabble

This book is wonderful from start to finish. I read Follow The River 20 years ago and this book was just as satifying. It was enlightening to be inside the mind of a white girl raised as a Native American during the turn of the 19th century, and to begin to understand the tragic outcome of the federal government’s policies during that period.
