I bught one of these for myself about 2 years ago. It works perfectly and a battery lasts about a year. I am a dancer and the pedometers I used in the past were never sensitive enough to record my dance steps; this one does. However it is discriminatory enough to not record riding along a rough road in the car. Also I found the separate recording of aerobic steps and total steps to be useful.
Then my girfriend asked for one for her birthday, so I got her one also. She loves it, says it makes her more likely to get out and walk on a rainy day which in our climate is a pretty useful feature.

I bought this along with my Garmin Nuvi 255W and love them both. The friction mount is an awesome device as it allows you to mount the Garmin screen to it and set it on your dashboard. It has a heavy bottom so tipping or sliding is not an issue. It stays in place wherever you put it. I like it so much better than the suction cup mount to the windshield. It also moves and pivots with ease, so it is never a strain to see what is on the screen. I highly recommend it as a necessary accessory to your Garmin GPS unit. Don’t leave home without it!
Kitchenaid Nylon Turner BLACK
I am buying a blue one today. I have used my mom’s white one several times and thought I should finally get my own. This blows away the cheap Hamilton Beach one that I picked up at Walmart a couple years ago it is well worth the extra money. The comparison to Cuisinart is splitting hairs. I like the feed tube design better on Cuisinart but I like the heavy duty cast aluminum base of the KitchenAid and the color choices. And MORE POWER. KitchenAid also has outstanding customer service. I melted the lid to my KitchenAid blender in the dishwasher and they sent me a new one FREE!

The Catcher in the Rye is now a classic. I don’t have much to say about the book with all these reviews going on here. However, I will comment about the edition. First of all, it isn’t a “first edition, first printing,” obviously, BUT, it has the format of the edition back then when it was first published in the 50’s. This is a great detail since you can appreciate the model they used before for a cheaper price if you’d want to buy an original copy. Great edition, wondeful book!!!
KitchenAid Architect Series II

As a teen reader it’s hard not to look at the fantasy book Twilight as every girl’s teen dream romance, but it does have flaws that can be hard to ignore.
Stephanie Meyer obviously aimed this book at teenage readers, not aimed as at much the mature adult audience. The story’s main characters, Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, the vampire Bella of course, falls head over heels for were brought to life wonderfully by Ms. Meyer. She really does an admirable job of describing every moment and thought of her characters, taking the reading experience to a new level as the book comes to life in the reader’s mind. Which adds to the whole experience, but the many grammatical errors can make some parts confusing. The editor chosen for the book did not do their job appropriately, so the reader must be prepared for moments such as this. Despite the grammatical errors, the book has some great cliff hangers. Stephanie Meyer knows how keep an audience by simply building up the suspense mid-chapter then, as you finish the chapter the reader is left asking questions. This, in turn, urges the reader to press on through the short, easy read. I have read other people’s comments towards the book often describing the book as totally unrealistic and dangerous to teenage girl’s perception of a hero (Edward) and a heroine (Bella). What these folks seem to overstep is that the book is purely fantasy, it was meant for the enjoyment of another world less mediocre than our own. So, obviously the book is unrealistic. For those readers who feel that it will damage a young adults perception of a hero and/or heroine have not been in a teenage girl’s shoes for a while. As one, I feel that the relationship between Edward and Bella is not particularly healthy, but it does demonstrate that love is a confusing, twisted road to walk down. If an adult reader is unsatisfied with the picture portrayed that is fine, they have every right to their own opinion, but if a parent is truly concerned about whether the

This is a wonderful cutting board! It doesn’t slide around on the counter top nor does any food stick to it. I can pick it up to scrape chopped onions into a pan without any problem. Cleaned up is a breeze, just rinse it off. I have 2 larger Kitchenaid cutting boards but I always grab this one. Either side of this board can be used. This is one of the most convenient and highly used items in my kitchenaid.
