Live Like A Fruit Fly, a book i recently found on amazon, is far more practical.
Introduction to Network Operating
I won’t repeat other reviews. This is a great training tool. Many reviewers state the small size of HRM info. You can customize any of the data fields on each screen. HR becomes readable when you add as a data field. There are many options – time of day, date, speed, cadence etc. so you can customize what you need.

produce was easy to install. I have had no problems using any of the programs thus far.

I was more or less forced to buy, because I purchased a new computer. It was a learning curve to figure out where everything I use in Office 2000 was, as the format is all-new. The biggest drawback is new document extensions (.docx instead of .doc), and they are not fully compatible. I guess Bill just needed even more money.

I needed a “nanny-cam” network to monitor the whole house. I installed FOUR Panasonic IP cameras (one BLC-1A and three BLC-121). All function exceptionally well. I am able to access any single output or a composite of all four easily, even from an iPhone.
The wireless range and reliability of the BLC-121 was disappointing, but when hooked up in wired mode, work flawlessly. Setup with a Mac was difficult (there are plenty of “how-to’s” on a google search that made it less painful). Sound for the BLC-121 on a mac is nonexistent.
Very happy with the video clarity and reliability of all four cameras in wired mode.

I guess I’m in the minority. I really wanted to like this book but I hated it. I hated the old man parts. It was such an irritating plot device. I didn’t find old Jacob lovable, I found him annoying. Young Jacob was an alright character but Marlena was like some kind of cardboard cut out. I mean she was just there. She was the most boring love interest I have ever read. August was pretty cool. There were a few good moments between August & Jacob but then a ridiculous plot twist or jumping back to old Jacob ended most of them abruptly. It was like the author didn’t know what to do so she just went back to the old people’s home & talked about jello until she figured out what would happen next. I felt like Jacob’s kindness towards the animals should have taken a center stage so you could really like him for something but this rarely happened. When the old carnie takes Jacob under his wing I found myself asking WHy?? It didn’t really make any sense so I just told myself that he must be a really nice man, he seems to have some depth maybe oh now lets throw him off the train What?? Jacob grieves for his friends for half a paragraph & then he’s off to bang Marelena wtf ? The only redeeming parts of the book were Jacob’s relationship with the dwarf & the old carnie whose name has slipped my mind. There were three parts that i actually found believable & thought provoking. First was Jacob’s reaction to his parents death which was real & written well. Second was when Queenie the dog can’t be found, that was pretty heart-wrenching. Third is Jacob’s decision not to murder August. These parts were interesting & had more depth in describing the character’s motives & feelings. The ending was a slap in the face & i hate that old Jacob in the nursing home. I think the movie has a chance though. Hopefully Reese Witherspoon can make Marlena seem less vapid.

Great carpet cleaner. I went with this model after MUCH research b/c my parents bought the same one about 10 years ago and have NEVER had an issue with theirs. After borrowing theirs for 4 years, I decided that it was time to buy my own.Sometimes the vac doesn’t suck- but that is b/c I don’t always have the canister locked into place. With an infant and 2 large dogs…this was a great purchase and it does a wonderful job!

The book is not only a sure thing as far as covering all the material on Cisco’s CCNA, but my and my fellow Network Academy class mates plan on using it as a comprehensive desk reference.
